I suspect what he's really saying is that the market does not demand the kind of development work on OpenServer and OpenUnix that they demand for Linux, which -- let's face it -- is a much more mainstream O/S than the former two. If you don't NEED to develop lots of stuff for OpenServer and/or OpenUnix, why dump development dollars into it? Focus on the future, which seems to be Linux.

Seems clear to me.
