I tried Mandrake 8.1 on my laptop(pII 266, 64RAM). The installation was very easy, amazing... but after all, my laptop took 2 minutes to boot... and my sound card didn't work at wall.. it was really a pity... I, personally, prefer Slackware... it's fast and stable... people says that it has no package management, it's old... but Slackware rocks. Nothing personal... it's just my preference
