Edison is a commercial corporation that runs schools -- mostly public -- for various local school districts. They are big on both saving money and using technology (appropriately) to reach specific goals.
Q. Does Edison use Linux or other free software?
The ability to both control the software and to skip licencing fees seems like an ideal fit -- well for almost anyone but Edison specifically.
