Lindows\Linux has Gimp. Windows has a half assed port. Or maybe I should say it's all the way full assed. Winner: Lindows (and linux).

Windows has that stupid program where resident evil characters walk around the desktop and moan and my stupid brother keeps installing it. Lindows\Linux do not. Winner: Once again, Lindows\Linux.
Windows has the registry database design flaw that causes it to slow down and start crashing with age. No other operating system has that, at least not that I know of. Winner: Every OS I have ever heard of that isn't named Win9x, ME, XP, NT 4.x, or NT 5.x.
So you see, even if there is a subscription, Lindows is still Linux and has almost all of it's advantages (they cut down a security features though) so it's almost as good. It may be substandard Linux, but if it does run Gimp well and doesn't like Bonzi Buddy, than it is still a thousand times better than Windows.
