FatPort's WISP in a box

Posted by: Malcolm McDonald on August 01, 2002 05:07 AM
Just a heads up - Canada's FatPort sells a complete wireless authentication server for $525 USD. It comes preconfigured with a high-powered wireless 802.11b Wi-Fi card and 32MB Compact Flash with OpenBSD embedded. The FatPoint has been written up on a number of sites - including 80211-planet</a 80211-planet.com>.

The device works right out of the box - plug it into a working DSL line and you're good to go.
