Woa, I agree with you that Debian and Icewm are great. But I don't see how anyone could not like icewm because it is not like Windows. Many people don't care for it this very reason.
Or that it is not a full fledged Desktop Environment like KDE or Gnome. That is fair enough. But for older hardware, icewm is the sweetspot for speed and features. Also it has the best keyboard support which is "key" for me. I loathe the idea of having to "mouse around".
