Not to me. I have a personal policy against giving money to spammers, makers of web-popups/popunders and especially against paying extortion fees to adware/spyware companies to avoid seeing their ads or loading their spyware.
BTW, I have paid for Mandrake box sets in the past, but I never will again unless the decision to make the distribution into adware/spyware is reversed.
