Maximixing Memory- and CPU-constraints

For an old 486-Notebook with 12MB of Ram, reiserfs posed to much stress on CPU und Memory, bringing the System to a halt regularly. So if you're short on CPU or RAM, don't use reiserfs. ext3 is much more benign in that respect.
