What about ReiserFS ?

Posted by: Chris Spencer on October 14, 2003 12:24 AM
Up until the last batch of Linux distros came out, I was using ext(2/3), because that's what came with RedHat. However, the latest versions of SuSE and Slackware both ship ReiserFS. Just as he said, fcsk could perform most tasks, as well as using tune2fs to check the file system for errors. However, that doesn't work for ReiserFS. I was hoping he would mention the best way to do such things with that particular filesystem, but I see at the end he just mentioned defragmenting with ext3.
