As poor as this article is, I'm still going to comment on it.
I would hate to have to run X regardless of what I was doing. It's a total waste of processor cycles, especially if I am running background, console-based processes (such as servers often do). The author does not seem to realise that Linux is predominantly used on servers. It is not Micro$oft Windoze!!!
