We'll pretend that that has something at all to do with the command line. Since you didn't specify your desktop, we'll assume it's KDE (since that's what I use). Right-click on the desktop, go to Create New->Link to Application, enter what you want the link to be called, pick an icon for it if you feel like it by clicking on the one shown, go to the Execute tab and enter the program you want to run when the link is clicked on under Command (I always enter the whole path, but maybe just the name of the program would work; who knows, but if it doesn't just use the whole path), and be happy.
