kept the emails that I wrote to Google concerning this issue. Basically I said, "If MS buys you, I'm not using you anymore."
They replied, "We will not be merging with MS, ever!"
I think Google as a company, is very pro-Linux, and cool towards MS. If you look in their Directory/Computers/Operating Systems, you will find that Linux is in bold letters, and Windows is not. That tells me they are taking a poke at MS.
And I believe that Google knows that they will be/are huge. I read somewhere that Googles potential for income will be at least billions of dollars a year, if not closer to 15-25 billion a year. Why sell off your future of fortune for minor comfort now?
