I've thought about that for awhile, and I'm glad someone finally asked. At a more detailed level, did Novell sell all exclusive rights? Did Novel retain rights? Novell gets a 5% cut from SCO sales of a sort. Is there a string ? Can Novell use Linux code legally ? Can they alter or release it ? Can SCO sue Novell for using Linux ?
