Is this a way for Novell to proxy out a battle for IP to SCO ? Does Novell -really- want Linux to be OS ? They've retrieved a sort of "IP" by getting SuSE. If Novell has legal threads on the UNIX property, why don't they go ahead and open source the whole unix thing, code and IP ?
Is this a deal ? MS lets Novell live if Novell helps limit Linux influence ?
