Thanks for the very good article. I would have been interested in a discussion of the respective growth potential of StarOffice and OpenOffice. For example, it is unclear to me what would happen in the open source community provides OpenOffice with some code which might interest StarOffice developers: could they include it in their product?
Also - are there any thorough comparisons between OpenOffice and other office suites out there, including the open source ones?
I am no big fan of Sun, but in this case I would thank them for making OpenOffice possible!
