we cant change out our office sweet at all. Automation is such a key part of the business. The vast majority is excel automation. excel + vba can do some impressive things. access 'apps' (to use the term loosly) also pop up in the business. users use the tools and recorded macros.
python is an interesting choice but harder than vba for end users to learn one or two keywords with.
