I'm an OOo user, but one feature I really miss is the ability to create a collection of styles, put them in a custom menu, then drag that menu to anywhere I want on the screen. The OOo Stylist is close but not as customizable.
Anyway, any menu in MS Office is detachable, draggable, etc. so I'm not sure if that's what the author means, but it's been that way since MS Office 97 anyway.
