I agree entirely with what you said, When I try to get friends interested in a Linux distro we never get very far. as soon as they see how difficult the file manager or dialup is they say give me my windows back! I have no problem with more advanced versions for techies but the average joe sixpack forget it!!! Why doesn't lindows OS offer a CD with all the software options on it? this would be a godsend to dial up people!!!! there are still millions of people still stuck with dialup!
