By using those words, ESR just seems to be saying SCO is indulging in mud-casting rather that actually casting mud back at them. UNLESS there is evidence to back up SCO's claim, there are a dozen nouns one can use to call SCO.
If someone called you an a55h0le without saying why, wouldn't you have a few words to say (without necessarilly slinging back mud)?
