This may or may not be true, but I don't believe you can discount it simply because of the bad spelling.
I do know my way around a keyboard, I work as a senrMgr for a large US IT Corp. But when I write internal emails to folks I communicate regularly I have a habit of just typing away. I know they will know what I am meaning because I know that they will recognise my 'style'. I never use the spellchecker... haven't the time (or patience). So, don't assume that the mispellings imply that the content isn't valid.
