As i started we had a very heterogenous environment, with AIX to VAX. Now servers run exclusive on linux. Thats for a reason. AIX is nice but a pain when you run it in a heterogenous environment. everything is different. smitty is nice but fails short when it gets problems. Linux has some shortcomming when it comes to larger servers, but feel free to add patches. AIX ? I dont know anyone how liked AIX outside a pure AIX env.
