I get about 20 junk mails a day, and don't have to sort through them to get to the good stuff. It just works!!!
Lucky you. I get 2000 a day. Mozilla does a fantastic job of knocking out about 98% of them but that still leaves 50 or so to do manually. Each day! I too would like to be able to rum my own SMPT server so a method that allows for this would be great. Perhaps rather than blocking mail that isn't trusted it could merely mark it as not trusted. This would allow the recipient client to junk the untrusted e-mails unless they happen to be sent from a mailserver they personally trust (ie yours).
