Set up your SMTP host on your machine as a "SMART HOST" which means that it always sends its mail to your ISP's mail server which then goes out to the wild. (If they properly block port 25.) Then set up Your SPF record to point at your IP and your ISP's SPF record.
Also set up your SMTP server to require you to log into it first. This closes the open host.
What's so hard about all of that? (Other than the learning curve, But you're trying to set up a mail server!)
