E-Smith, Inc. created a RedHat-based server/gateway system in the late 90s that was later bought by Mitel Networks and is called <A HREF="http://www.mitel.com/DocController?documentId=9787" title="mitel.com">Mitel Networks 6000 Managed Application Server</a mitel.com>. There is also the "community" version which can be found at <A HREF="http://contribs.org/modules/news/" title="contribs.org">Contribs.org</a contribs.org>. In addition to the firewall, gateway, mail/ftp/web services, there are numerous "contributions" such as content management systems (CMS), collaboration tools, and the like. I have been installing and maintaining these servers for years and have been very pleased with the results.
