Not really paying attention again, author?

Explain to me how one has the freedom to redistribute their modifications even though they don't have the freedom to modify it. How does that work? Also, does libre not also include the right to redistribute? I don't think you understand both these terms.

Libre means that it is free to do whatever you want with it. Gratis means its simply free of charge. Some Gratis software isn't even open source and forbids you modify and redistribute.
