That is a typical reaction of a lazy person. Take another approach: it is good to change is the change is an improvement. Also consider why almost everything that comes from Japan is technologically superior to what comes from the USA. Reason: they don't stick to the 'works-don't-fix' nonsense; they improve when/where they see a possibility.
And if it hurts to read that Japanese products are better and more reliable, too bad for you.
