Linux joining a DFS domain

Posted by: Doug Loss on December 17, 2004 09:28 PM
I'd like to start pushing out some Linux desktop clients to receptive users here at the university, but the network drives are being migrated to DFS on Active Directory (after being heavily Novell for years). I can do forced mounts of shares directly on various servers, but when last I tried (admittedly some months ago) there was no way to log into a DFS domain. Something about signing, as I recall. Has the situation changed; is it possible for a Linux system to play nicely with MS's DFS?
