You assume that Debain will work out of the box, or should I say download. Fedora works with my graphics card right after install. I played with, aka sought help on the message boards and websites, debian for hours before giving up. I have an nVidia card and it would not let me get a resolution greater then 800x600, yet I run at least 1024x768 with fedora.
If I had my way, I would run debian, but given that I don't have hours to waste just to get my video card to work right, what am I left to do.
