All my linux life (since 1993) I've been on the bleeding edge. I've spent years logging bugs and upgrading, downgrading. and to be honest I'm quite tired of wasting my time on immature software. problem is that even RHEL 3.0 and SUSE SLES9 are immature for desktope usage. KDE and GNOME still have shitloads of bugs. I can still trigger a bug in about 2 minutes.
Just today both Gnome volumecontrol and eggcups dumped core on me big time.
With FC3 I found a regression bug with my pcmcia controller. prism54 cards will not register the last two octets in the mac-address.
Linus still immature on the desktop.

So linux is just as bug ridden as windows.
The server side is great though.
