"One wonders how you reached such a conclusion:"
1) I whas alive and old enough when it whas created and remember the details. 2)I can read changelog 3) Its a funny tidbit I use to show the force of open source and the GPL. 3) I seem to have the ability to read text in english and you obviously dont.
"So, I think we all know the truth now."
Yes , you dont know jack and cant read ... Nothing new in your case.

"dpkg is the base of the Debian package management system. It was created by Ian Jackson in 1993"
I like the "dpkg is the base of the Debian package management system." , meaning it whas created/built then used to build the Debian project ...
http://www.debian.org/intro/about#history
"Debian was begun in August 1993 by Ian Murdock"
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~ian/software/
"I wrote the current implementation of dpkg"
I like the " current implementation " : it means its a rewrite/revision of a former version ...
"I am the primary author of Debian APT"
I like the "Debian APT" : meaning there whas an APT and then a Debian APT and then Apt-get.
If I recall history right Dpkg whas built for Slackware wich refused it and then Apt whas built to use dpkg and then The Debian project whas created in August 1993.
To resume : DPKG and APT where not built by or for the Debian project but they picked it later used it and improved it.
Re:APT whas not made by Debian
