There is a good list of software at <A HREF="http://www.opus.co.tt/dave/indexall.htm" title="opus.co.tt">http://www.opus.co.tt/dave/indexall.htm</a opus.co.tt> - Simtel also had a great range of stuff but I'm not sure if it is still available. It's surprising what can be done with DOS; there is a good graphical web browser/email client in Arachne, plus there are CD ripping/burning tools, graphical desktops, camera tools and more. It has its limitations of course, but it has the advantage of being able to run on hardware too slow to run Linux with X.
