This article was certainly interesting but I'd like to know more about the Gentoo installation that was used for the testing. The other OSes used come in a generic x86 compatible binary form whereas Gentoo is normally compiled for the exact sub-architecture making use of all the processors features and compiler optimizations. This will make Gentoo faster than even another Linux distro using the same kernel. I'd like to see this article updated w/ a version of Redhat or SuSE used.
