LTSP allows you to boot to the server and access resources centrally. You only need a diskette with EtherBoot (?) Image. Our admin, is able to load that small boot image to workstations (one possible solution of LTSP).

Will NX allow me to do the same? (Use only a disk to boot or connect to server NX?)

My previous experience is that NX Client is an application within an Operating System Host. Therefore, it does not offer me the same freedom as LTSP.

Probably the LTSP team can implement on compression methods in the future I hope.
