No offense taken. In fact, you're kinda right, I was being arrogant. But, that is not my normal nature; I was just using arrogance as part of the message, to convey the idea that we deal with a lot of simultaneous users.

Just FYI, you have more experience than me. I've been dealing with this stuff for some 3 years.
On the local side, if you deal with, say<nobr> <wbr></nobr>;-), more than 2 thousand users (simultaneously logged), you *must* use compression to save bandwidth. Compression itself generates latency (i.e., degrades user experience) and requires a more powerful thin client processor.
Thanks for your views on the subject. I intend to use a thin client configuration at home, too, and they were valuable for me.
