There is a really cool RSS reader project that uses Bayesian stats to filter articles based on your likes and dislikes. <A HREF="http://read4me.sf.net/" title="sf.net">read4me</a sf.net> has a XUL client currently and an extension in CVS. I've found it extremely useful when you have a long list of feeds you like to keep up with.
