You're kidding me, right?
Adding text can also be to be more precise, not to restrict freedom per se. Go read the four freedoms of free software, go read the apache license, and tell me how it restricts those four freedoms. Good luck.
GPL compatibility is NOT a requirement of freedom. I think you might want to get some more knowledge about licensing issues before claiming a license widely considered as free isn't.
