1. A handful of OSS jihadis finally release version 1.0 of their implementation of Java version 1.3, about 4 years later than planned, sometime in the year 2011.

2. It's full of bugs, more so than the existing JVM's.

3. Some folks decide to use it in a production environment, it crashs, those folks are fired.

4. RMS gives it his blessing, because it can run on HURD.

5. It includes "improvements" to the Java language, which no other JVMs support. But that's ok, because it's a competitive advantage.

6. it ends up as popular and functional and HURD.

7. 99% of all computer geeks continue to download the JVM and tools like Eclipse, FOR FREE, from the evil corporations

8. It gets forked and customized a dozen times, all of which succeed in getting 0.1% of the marketshre

9. Eventually, only a few die hard people continue to work on it, but its NOT A FAILURE!

JAVA IS ALREADY FREE, but go ahead and waste your time you idiots, I wish you luck.
