Coiling extra cable?

Posted by: Anonymous Coward on June 02, 2005 01:24 AM
I was told years ago to never coil extra unshielded cable. Yes, it's convenient, and looks nice. But it creates an inductor, which can have unexpected effects on high frequency signals. It may degrade your signal quality, and thus your bandwidth.

Unfortunately, I wasn't told a good alternative for extra cable.
