ssh and ssl had a flaw that let the encryption be bypassed.

Reason not to run old distros. Redhat version 7.0 should be dumped there are too many flaws.

I agree with most of these extra rules.

I have a extra two.

Don't depend on encrytion to save ones tail. The encrytion program might be flawed.

Don't depend on no longer looked after distros because this can come back and bite hard if someone explots a flaw that has not been fixed.
