that you are prepared for the flaming you are going to get for this post. These people don't tolerate your point of view, which I share by the way.
They don't understand the way that judicial activism is undermining the constitution and the capitalist economy we have.
They also look at Open Source as some Socialistic "judgement day" of technology. They talk about freedom, but don't realize that a purely economic conservative and capitalist begs for open competition to drive the economy. The only reason that Microsoft has driven the economy is in it's force to standardize hardware to a large degree. Now it's time to bring competition back to the game.
I laugh at the use of "Open Source Politics". Democracy is just that. Every one participates to shape the course that the nation takes. Unfortunately the Dems of the last 50 years are the Aristocrats of yesteryear, Old-money. They don't want anything to chip away at their financial base.
The predominantly liberal Supreme Court just ruled today against property rights. They have extended the ability for local government to seize property "for the good of the community". It used to be that they would take real estate for roads or other public projects "in the interest of the whole" (while offering a supposedly 'fair' stipend). The decision today opens this to Commercial development.
So here it stands. Your local city is suffering from the lack of tax revenue from business and they zone you out of your family estate to build a mall. This is the legacy of the Aristocratic left.
In any case, I agree with you but we are going to get flamed by Compu-Marxists and teenies who have been indoctirnated and can't think, or research for themselves. (funny how once they start working, and the bills roll in, just how fast they move to the right. They may not be conservatives, but taxes and the lack of ability to pay your bills will move one towards smaller government.)
Original U.S. Constitution = Open Source Politics (in other words.... VOTE)
I really hope for your sake....
