Hey Rome wasn't built in a day. Ever try to use Photoshop v1 or 2? It's painful. It's going to take GIMP a few more years to catch up with such a mature product.
The only thing I really hate about GIMP is having a billion windows cluttering up my taskbar. I can't simply minimize the whole app in one click-- so irritating.
