Which makes it even worse to use, ever tried finding a single window in that group? It's a pain. Ever tried draging a file to a minimized window in a group? It can't be done, not in KDE at least.
Maybe it's just old habbit, but I want my programs to use a single window (not taking more then one place in the taskbar, per instance) and I don't want programs in a group on my taskbar, if I can avoid it.
I like the GIMP, really I do, I'd love it if they just made it into a single window.
