China's govenment is about complete and total control of everything including peoples thought processes, the GPL is about putting power back in the hands of "the people", what do you think is going to happen?
If Linux wasn't sticking it to MS I think that it would be outlawed in China.
China's govt does not give a hoot about "Open Source" it's Linux strategy is all about not paying MS, not that they did anyway.
