I'd tried vmware player/workstation/server, ms virtual pc/virtualserver, qemu. The best for me is qemu. It's simple, affidable, opensource !!!! There is a gui front-end for win host at <a href="http://www.davereyn.co.uk/download.htm" title="davereyn.co.uk">http://www.davereyn.co.uk/download.htm</a davereyn.co.uk>, there is also a integrated distribution (qemu+frontend).
