Opera/Firefox recommendation

Thanks! Well-documented article on advanced search methods in Opera (and Firefox).

Opera as become my primary browser as well and I have been recommending it to clients (as well as Firefox - whichever they feel more comfortable with) for some time.

Microsoft's recent announcement that IE 7 will be treated as a high-priority update via their automatic update feature is a clear statement that IE 6 is not suitable for secure browsing.

I urge users, particularly those of unsupported MS OSes (Windows 9x, ME, NT, 2000, etc..) to download both Opera and Firefox and begin using right away if the security of your desktop is important to you.

Until IE 7 is available (not the beta builds - beta applications are *never* a good recommendation) - users of Windows XP, Server 2003, etc.. should strongly consider the use of Opera and/or Firefox as their primary browser.
