Me again, You don't know all that many Christians I guess. Nor is your knowledge of the Bible anything to brag about. If your asking me if there are ignorant Christians, of course there are. Some of them have their own TV shows, but to make the leap from those cursory observations to equating all religion w/ ignorance and manipulation is in itself ignorant and frankly sounds a bit hateful as well. You have a belief system of your own. It shapes your thoughts and guides your mouth. You are judging everything and everyone according to your belief system. If I had to guess, rather than believe in a superior God you have simply made yourself god in your own eyes and judge the rest of the world from that lofty position.
Been there done that.
What you need to understand is that all genuine Christians have been where you are and left. I wonder if you have ever been where they are?
