That's what Linus was stating in his comments. You don't have to restate what has already been told. We *CAN* read. As for DVD playback, well that's a good thing. The mem stick should've been working since 2.4.19 at least. That is the first kernel I got my mem stick to work on, simply insmod the usb module for it and viola( the mistake here is done on purpose. I know how to spell voila, since my first language is French ). As for the camera, well, it's a matter of driver in the apps, not the kernel.
