maybe I didnt pick it up but as a newbie I can tell you that one of the MOST have was the tool to quickly locate the file in your directory. Wihout this mc is really very slow, having to click on the arrow different times.
So the one you whould have put was Ctrl-s for searching and locating a file within the directory. This was definetly a most mention.
