Have you tried to use xcalib (http://www.etg.e-technik.uni-erlangen.de/web/doe<nobr>/<wbr></nobr> xcalib/)
which lets apply a screen profile (generated with "spiders" on the other OS) to the xserver ? I would be interested in your opinion<nobr> <wbr></nobr>...
