Using the pentium-4 march token made me raised questions right from the start. If I'm not mistaking, there is a march value for amd64, no? Why not use it? Like for the upcoming Intel 64 bits processor will have nokona(?) march token.
By using pentium-4, you probably have compiled all of your apps in 32 bits. You also used a stage3 install, which means you have precompiled binaries unless you do a complete bootstrap of your system, but you do not specify if this has been done.
Thanks but no thanks. I'll do my own benchmarking when I get my hands on a amd64 because, truly, I have no confidence at all in what you provided here.
I don't think is a valid test
